New Voices: Philadelphia’s Emerging Poets (under the age of 25).

Jennifer Nessel is a graduate from Saint Joe’s, received the Best Short Story award from her university’s literary magazine, and has received funding for a novella entitled, ‘The Cage,’ through which she explored trauma and story-telling in the age of the ‘Me Too’ movement. Bianca “Bee” Fanty is graduate from UARTS, writes about trauma, hallucinations, and the mundane. These are also reflected in her illustrations, prose, music, and filmmaking. She served as an editor for UArts’ literary magazine, Underground Pool. Ian Palmer has lived in nine countries and tries to contend gently with everything he sees, he is 21 years old and a senior at Swarthmore College studying political science, religion, and poetry.
