The Museum is offering a special tour focusing on women changemakers throughout American history. Explore the changing roles of women across more than 350 years, as well as the contributions Jewish women made to Jewish and American life from the 18th century to today, with a focus on second-wave feminists such as Bella Abzug and Betty Friedan. Artifact highlights include Bella Abzug’s hat, and an original 1963 copy of Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique, which is widely credited with sparking the beginning of second-wave feminism in the United States.
